Name: Battle for Clatsop County Civil War Reenactment and Living History
Date: September 1, 2018 - September 3, 2018
Event Description:
This is a new location for us and we are excited to work with the Clatsop County Fair to put this event on. We will NOT be at Fort Stevens State Park but here at the Clatsop County Fair Grounds.

Join us and take a step back in time and watch history come to life. Walk through Military, Artillery, and Cavalry camps and see what they did from day to day. Watch drills, military demos, military medical demos, ask questions and learn lots of history. See how the cannons work and the Engeneers Pontoon Bridge. Stroll through town and see how the civilians managed from day to day during the war. See how the Civilians contributed to the war effort, watch demos, see what they would have done for work. See children play period games, see what kind of food is cooking.

Watch the battles. Saturday and Sunday 11am and 3pm and Monday at noon.
