The Gorge Hops & Hogs Fest

When the scent of blooming cherry blossoms fade into the hickory sweet aroma of mouth-watering BBQ, it’s time for the area’s tastiest summer celebration, Gorge Hops and Hogs presented by Sedition Brewing Company and The Dalles Area Chamber of Commerce.

Mark your calendar for the 2nd Annual Gorge Hops and Hogs Festival on June 15th, 2019. BBQ enthusiasts will fill Lewis & Clark Festival Park to enjoy the sights, sounds and tastes of summer. The family-friendly BBQ extravaganza will feature a BBQ competition, People’s Choice BBQ tasting, regional Craft Beer and wine, beer yoga, live music provided by Shool Boi ACDC cover band, food trucks, sponsor exhibits, backyard games, a kids’ zone and more. It’s a perfect setting for a day of BBQ, beer and picnics. Bring your blankets or lawn chairs and enjoy!

CHAMPIONING NON-PROFITS

The Gorge Hops and Hogs Fest benefits local non-profit organizations. For 2018 and 2019, we selected the Columbia Gorge Veterans Museum.

The mission of the Columbia Gorge Veterans Museum is to honor military veterans, past and present, from all branches of the Armed Forces, with primary focus on veterans from Wasco, Sherman, Klickitat, Skamania, and Hood River Counties; Inspire and educate visitors about the region’s extensive military heritage; and educate students in grades K-12 about the region’s military heritage through the stories of our veterans. The Columbia Gorge Veterans Museum is a collaboration between The Dalles Legion Post 19 and the Mid-Columbia Veterans Memorial Committee. The Gorge Hops and Hogs Fest partners with the Columbia Gorge Veterans Museum, to support the amazing work they do!
